Jutta (Deutschland)
We had a fabulous stay in Paris, Gregory & Bernd were gracious hosts who went out of their way to make our stay all it could be. We enjoyed their company very much over delicious breakfasts. The apartment is beautiful & clean & a very convenient location from which to explore Paris. Highly recommend by Katie&Gaven (Perth)
It was a phenomenonal experience from the start when Gregory picked us up and we had coffee and cake on their balcony to the end where we were invited to a breakfast feast suitable for kings and queens. The Room is luxurious and everything is thought of to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Gregory knowledge of Paris and recommendation helped us have the true parisian experience Anna&Greg (Victoria Australia)
If you are considering this rental but have not yet booked, trust me and look no further! If I could give them more than 5 stars, I would. Upon arrival, Gregory brought in robes and slippers and treated us to homemade coffee cake, then offered to walk us around to get our bearings. What we expected to be a short walk around turned into an evening, and Bernd then met us out - such a fabulous thing for a host to offer to those new in the city. The room, shower, bed - everything is absolutely wonderful. The room overlooks a beautiful courtyard. The morning breakfasts are like something from a 5-star restaurant...each morning we were surprised with new pastries, new presentation of the eggs, coffee, fresh squeezed orange juice. I cannot say enough good things about our stay. Each day - Gregory and Bernd would advise on our plans for the day - which trains to take, best views, best places to eat and try when we were in different areas. They made us feel right at home - even allowing us do some laundry while there. On the morning of our departure, they sent us with a bag of pastries we hadn't eaten for our train ride, and they even printed off some suggestions for things to try for our next stop in the south of France (and checked in on us that we arrived later that day). What wonderful friends we made in Gregory & Bernd. If we find ourselves in Paris again, we can only hope that Gregory&Bernd's room will be available. Trey and Jill (Louisville KY ) 07/2016
Best host ever period. Everything top notch! Greg is extremely professional, and resourceful. He's happy to answer all your inquirers about France traveling with all the patience in the world. plus he makes killer breakfast. Hands down one of the best host I've seen. Michelle (Pékin) 07/2016
Our hosts were excellent. This experience was so much richer than I expected. Gregory and Bernd are the consummate and discerning hosts. So kind and service-oriented. Breakfast was delicious and well appointed. Their restaurant recommendations were perfect. We loved it! Mary and John (Chicago)
Wow! It was perfect! Gregory came to the train station and carried my wife's bag home. As we were unpacking he began cooking us crepes and served them with home-made caramel sauce. Say what!!?? Nobody makes caramel sauce! Then he took us on a three hour walking tour of the neighborhood, getting us oriented to our surroundings and making sure we had the proper transportation tickets for doing what we wanted. Let me mention that the immediate neighborhood is completely packed with restaurants, patisseries, bakeries, fresh food markets of all kinds, and of course, the Sacre Couer. The next morning was our first breakfast. It was nothing short of fantastic! Four kinds of home-made jams, wonderful home-made yogurt, even the Nutella was home made. Delicious meats and cheeses, exotic tea for my wife, coffee for me, fresh juices, fruit salad, croissants, eggs scrambled and returned to the shell served in little cups. Two kinds of fresh baguettes (yes, they were fresh – I caught him at the bakery at 7AM one morning while I was out taking photos – he was at the bakery every day when it opened). We were a little rushed on this morning, but we decided that from this day forward, we would adjust our routine to accommodate a long and luxurious breakfast. The museums could wait! In addition to all of this wonderful food, Gregory joined us for breakfast each day, answering questions, and giving inside information on how to go about what we were going to do. As for our living quarters – the bed was oh, so comfy! The entire place was impeccably clean. The shower so nice! He even did laundry for us. After three days here we left for five days in the Normandy countryside where we stayed in two different BNB type castles. The castles were nice, beautiful properties, but they simply couldn't compare with the warmth and homeliness of Gregory's apartment. We found ourselves wishing for the breakfasts and longing to sleep in that wonderful bed. Luckily for us, we had booked his place for one additional night on our last night in France. When we returned from Normandy, there he was. He asked, ""Would you guys like to share a bottle of Rose' on the balcony with me?"" Of course yes! So we talked and drank until the bottle was gone. Then he asked if we'd like to join him and Bern for an aperitif that night. Again, of course yes! In the morning he again carried my wife's bag to the train station. But not just to the station. This guy carried it all the way through the rushing crowds to the RER B platform where we caught our train. We saw many amazing things in Paris and in the countryside, but the highlight of our trip was staying at La Chambre Parisienne, and the friendship that was cultivated there. The Lees – Seattle, WA. Everything! There is no more perfect place to stay in Paris. Both Gregory&Bernd are amazing host. The room is beautifully decorated and absolutely perfect- everything you want and need (and more). The location is great- very close to metro station, there is a lot of place to eat with a lot of variety. Yana (Israël)
We had a wonderful 3 nights at this superb, comfortable, warm and stylish Parisienne Apartment . 5 star accommodation in the heart of Paris . Location is great … really close to Metro 3 min or RER 8 min. Fantastic, generous , friendly and engaging hosts , Great ambassadors for Paris !!! Well done ! Aidan and Trish

This is without doubt the best BnB we have stayed at. We are discerning and could not fault anything. The location is extremely convenient. It is close to the Metro and Garedu Nord station. Bernd even met us at the station on arrival. The apartment beautifully presented, our bedroom well appointed and comfortable and the attention to detail is of the highest standard. Gregory and Bernd are the consummate hosts and even invited us to join them for their New Year's Eve dinner! They also provided wide-ranging and delicious breakfasts. We would highly recommend this BnB. John & Hilary. (New Zealand & London)

Tanja

Grégory and Bernd are really fantastic and kind hosts! The location is really primo, very easy to get all around town. The room itself is incredibly spacious and beautiful. and the bed is really nice. No complaints here on anything. Breakfast is certainly the real deal, and I really enjoyed meeting them both. They were also accommodating and helpful when it came to suggestions about town and getting to where u needed to be. I had an audition in the morning after, and they were kind enough to let me practice a bit in the apartment as well. Highly recommend! Jason

Damien & Pierrick

Highly recommended : Travelled to Paris the morning after the attacks. Bernd & Grégory contacted us pro-actively, and their reception was thoughtful and warm. The room is beautiful and clean with a top quality bed/sheets. Breakfast freshly cooked/baked and extensive. Grégory is a perfect host. Montmartre is only a stroll away. We enjoyed the weekend, made long walks, and travelled by metro. We felt safe and welcome, … our thoughts remain with the victims, their family and friends, feeling solidarity with Paris : so do not stay away : visit Paris ! Erwin (Brussels)

Gregory and his partner Bernd are living in a great apartment, in a charming neighborhood and are themselves very nice people. They picked me up at Gare du Nord, which is close by, and we shared drinks and dinner. Their guest room looks almost stunningly like a posh hotel room, but the overall experience is, of course, a lot more personal than a hotel stay could be. Would love to come back! Merten (Hamburg)

Gregory's welcome encapsulated our stay! Charming, generous, welcoming and genuine. The apartment exceeded our expectations even though we knew it would be beautiful…exquisite in every way. Gregory and Berndt are the perfect hosts and we felt so comfortable in their home with them. The apartment is just a 5 minute walk from the metro and one stop from Gare du More so perfect for a Eurostar visit. The area is a mix of cosmopolitan and chic – 10 minutes walk to Sacre Coeur, Monmartre and Pigale (moulin rouge etc) and a leisurely 30 minutes to Note Dame and the left bank…..you can probably tell….we rather liked staying at La Chamber Parisienne and can't think of anywhere else we rather stay in Paris! Matt & Dawn, Surrey,England

Gregory and his husband are great hosts. I've been welcomed with a cup of tea and homely chats in their nice living room. I've enjoyed very much their beautiful newly-refurbished apartment close to Gare du Nord. The neighborhood is really interesting, a real piece of Paris, especially when you have someone local guiding you around. I really felt at home!! Thank you guys! Martina

Gregory and Bernd were a wonderful couple!!! They made my wife and I feel at home very easily. If all people were as kind, thoughtful, considerate, and caring as they are, surely there would be world peace. Peter

Bernd and Gregory were wonderful hosts. They made us feel special from the moment we arrived in Paris by meeting us at the train station. Their home is very comfortable and well decorated. We felt so lucky to have found them and even shared a few meals together. They gave us great insider recommendations and were very helpful. My wife and I have been lucky to have experienced many B & B's around Europe and the U.S. and we both agree this was our favorite. Gregory is a wonderful cook! After many hours exploring Paris each day, it was always so nice to have such a comfortable bed for us to sleep. Thanks again Bernd and Gregory!!! Peter & Lindsay (Arizona)

Gregory and Bernd were the cream of the crop! Their love of Paris, all things Parisian and their ability to share that with us made it impossible not to fall in love with this city. Let me start by saying the Flat was much more than we had expected. Our room had a most comfortable bed (saying a lot since it was the end or our trip), was clean and tastefully decorated with all the little extra amenities within. They open up their home to us and we felt like we were visiting old friends (which I hope we can someday claim them to be). They were attentive to our stay, and even got up early on a Sat. morning to be sure we had our Kings feast of a breakfast. It was always about our schedule each morning and evening. Gregory shared his Chief's talent with us in homemade jams and treats, and we always had wonderful cheeses, meats, and bread from somewhere in France each day. And Fresh fruit, juice and excellent teas and coffee were offered. Bernd always had a story to tell about a shared bottle of wine. They were helpful in directing us on how to get around the city (our first time there) and the Location was excellent for the Metro and for walking to many restaurants and shops. All our diners out were fabulous. If you are going to Paris and they are not available – change your dates! I can't imagine going back to anywhere else while there. Tricia (New York)

Gregory was a fantastic host. We could not have asked for better. He speaks English well and was very helpful; more than any host we've had so far. He went out of his way to meet us at the Paris RER as it delivered us from CDG Airport and walked with us the 4 blocks to our flat. The flat was also beyond our expectations. Well appointed, secure, and quiet. Being located only 2 blocks from the Metro made all of Paris easily accessible, making Gregory's flat the ideal spot for our next stay in Paris. Lastly, the breakfast prepared by Gregory was superb. Home made jams and jellies, local honey, fruits, cheeses and freshly baked bread…..we can still smell it now. He even made us his special eggs to make sure we had everything we could ever need. It was a special treat to stay here and we will be back! Susan (Hawai)

Oscar (Madrid)
